Jérôme Varenne, a French financier, lives and works in Shanghai with Chen-Li, his life and business partner. One day, during a short stay in Paris, while paying a call to his mother, he is very displeased to learn from her and his hated brother, that the family house in Ambray is going to be sold. What fascinated him was not that one could see buildings from that distance, but that such detail wasn't the result of a zoom or a blowup as we normally understand them. They hadn't used four different telephoto lenses and made four different pictures . It was all one computer-enhanced electronic image, a database. The information in the closeup existed already in the larger-scale".

Second film in the 10 film series titled The New Option. The slim plot once again has Stone leading a group of rag-tag group of SDU recruits (is the force so hard up that they're allowing their cadets to go around with spiked and dyed hair?), while his squeeze (Suki Kwan) is working on a kidnapping case. After Suki loses her gun, her squad is taken off the case, and it's up to Stone and his boys to save the day.

Happy Families was a rural comedy drama written by Ben Elton which appeared on the BBC in 1985 and told the story of the dysfunctional Fuddle family. It starred Jennifer Saunders as Granny Fuddle, Dawn French as the Cook and Adrian Edmondson as her imbecilic grandson Guy. The plot centred around Guy's attempts to find his four sisters - also played by Saunders, for a family reunion.
